RESTLESS SOUL 2 – A FORM OF WORSHIP
She felt like dew upon petals of rose,
Her smile a balm upon his weary bones;
He shivered at the whispers of wisdom from her lips,
The adoration in her eyes turned to jelly his sturdy feet.
Her arms were slender, yet he could tell they were swift,
Hands that were capable, yet gentle upon his cheeks.
His roving mind had settled upon this gift,
The colour in his cheeks and the swagger in his feet,
Clear evidence of his victory over the stranglehold of Eve
Finally! His heart sang. He knew he’d been freed.
Finally! The one for whom he knew he was meet.
In her arms he discovered every pleasure he had missed!
His lips found hers in a reverent kiss,
She shivered at the intoxicating feel of his lips,
Shivered as she felt his strength against her hips,
Shivered as his fingers brushed her nipples and her cheeks;
He felt every emotion, every desire, everything he had wished,
Finally! Fulfillment, passion, pleasure and peace!
His heart sang! He trembled as he stood on his feet,
That aching void that once drove his restless spirit,
Was gone like a wisp of smoke in the wind,
His heart was filled and bursting at the seams
It felt like worship, how seamlessly they fit!
It felt so perfect, for he knew she was his!
